EPS growth (3Y CAGR)

Compound yearly growth in diluted earnings per share over three years.

In simple terms: How fast profit per share has grown each year, on average, over three years.

Why should I care?
Over long periods, stock prices have tended to follow profit per share.
Calculated from reported figures

How it's calculated

(EPS now ÷ EPS 3 yrs ago)^(1/3) − 1

Watch out for

Not meaningful when earnings were zero or negative at either end.

In general, a higher value is considered favourable — but always compare within the same industry, because what counts as “normal” varies widely.
